Student Interest Form

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in being a part of the India Research Corps. We will interview you and then match you to a question based on your skills and interest.

Please keep in mind the eligibility criteria –
  • Any student pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, policy, or social sciences can apply to become an India Research Scholar.
  • PhD Scholars interested in such research can also apply to the program
  • This program is ideally suited for 2-year Master’s or 3rd-year PhD students who have finished their coursework, since significant fieldwork might be involved. 
  • Willingness to travel to the field location in India, where the research needs to be undertaken.
 
Important instructions: 
 
  1. Select a question from the list of open questions and write a Statement of Purpose (SOP) for why you want to work on that question as an IRC scholar. 
  2. Ensure that your CV is attached with this SOP in a single PDF file. 
  3. Upload the file containing your SOP and CV and submit your form to complete your application. 
Please note that applications without a CV and a SOP for a specific open question will not qualify for the screening process.
